Google Drive is cloud storage that has lots of apps for you to use. For example, Google Drive has an app called “Google Docs,” which can be used to write in. It also has a program called “Google Sheets,” which is a spreadsheet. There are other programs, too! There are many office apps. You can use them for things like notes, photos, and more. There are also apps for everything you need to do in your work. They have features like collaborative tools and compatibility with Microsoft Office documents. Google Maps is a good app. It has many features. It’s easy to use and it has lots of information. Updates are always coming, so the app gets better and better. You will be able to find places on Google Maps, traffic data, can get directions to rest stops or gas stations, and even have offline maps now Waze is a navigation app that you can use. Google Search / Assistant / Feed

This is a powerful app. It also works on most Android devices. You can do many things with this app. You can ask it questions and it will answer, or you can control lights and more. Many other products work together to make the app even better like Google’s Home and Chromecast for TV so you can stream videos from there There is also a second Google Assistant app for people who want to put the icon of the app on their home screen. LastPass

LastPass is a password manager. It can help you save your login credentials in a safe place and generate hard-to-remember passwords for all your accounts. LastPass has cross-platform support, meaning that it is available on computers, mobile devices, tablets, or any other device that you want to use. There are other options for You can also use another password manager called LastPass. The paid version is very cheap and it has a lot of great features. You should install the app for additional security. It runs well and you can get the free version that has restrictions if you need to save your data or want to test it before buying.

Microsoft SwiftKey

Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard is a very powerful keyboard with many customizable features. The predictive engine is different from other keyboards. This app has grown a lot since it first came out. You can download it for free and buy themes if you want to. Other features include a dedicated number row, SwiftKey Flow which allows for gesture typing, multiple languages We think SwiftKey is about as good as it gets in the keyboard space. Microsoft bought them, but they have not messed it up yet. We were not going to put Nova Launcher on the list, but it is different. It has been around for years. It has always been a great option for people who want to change their home screen or launcher. You can customize it in many ways and make it look like the Pixel Launcher if you want to. If you go for something that costs more, then it has gestures, badges for apps that are unread, and icon swipe actions. If you want something simpler then try Lawnchair Launcher, Hyperion Launcher, and Rootless Launcher. There are also other launchers with even more options on this list.

Podcast Addict

Podcast Addict is a good app for people who like podcasts. The app has many different podcasts. It also has an easy-to-use interface, lots of features, and a premium version that costs less than most other apps. You can look at the list of podcasts by category or search for them individually. You can also set download rules, create playlists easily, and it supports both Chromecast and SONOS along with Android Auto and Wear OS. The UI and settings aren’t the most elegant things we’ve seen. However, the app makes up for it by hitting literally every other box we could think of. Poweramp

Poweramp is one of the most popular and most functional local music players on Android. It has basically all of the features, including hi-res audio support, Android Auto, an equalizer, gapless smoothing, and support for virtually any audio codec you can find. It even supports devices like the LG V60 and its Quad DAC. The UI for this music player has a little learning curve. But it’s one of the best-looking music players, too. There are other great apps in this store, but Poweramp is the best one to try. Poweramp also has an equalizer app that isn’t finished yet.

Solid Explorer

File browsing can be something everyone does. You might as well do it with a good file browser. Solid Explorer is the best. It has Material Design, archiving support, and supports popular cloud services like Dropbox and Google Drive. It looks great, is very stable, and works well even for power users who need to use FTP or SThis app has a 14-day free trial with a $2.99 price tag at the end of it. Tasker and IFTTT

Tasker is an app for people who like to make their own commands. You can use it in different places like when you are using other apps. There are many apps that work with Tasker, but it’s hard to explain what the app does because it can do so many things.

This is a Project 2 assignment, IFTTT is another of the excellent automation apps. It may be better than Tasker because it is simpler and has more uses. Tasker can also be found for free on Google Play. There are some other great Android tools and utility apps, but none of them are as good as Tasker and IFTTT.

Textra

Textra is a good messaging app for your phone. It has a lot of themes and you can edit them. You can customize the bubble shapes too. The tutorials help Textra work better with Android Auto than other apps do. You can choose from dark, light, or AMOLED themes and there is a lot of customization you can do to this messaging app. It also has bubble and app icon colors. There are even caps and speech-to-text options if you want them.

Textra is different than the default text messaging app on Android for sure, but messages by Google (Google Play) is another great option and it even has the ability to stream your texts to your computer (via web browser). TickTick

TickTick is not as popular as other to-do list apps. But it may be the best one. TickTick has some features that are different from others, like recurring tasks, reminders, push notifications, various organizational features, and categories. There are also sharing options for tasks and categories with other people which is great for You to get free features with only a few limits. These include two reminders per task (premium makes that unlimited). It is also a good alternative to Wunderlist. You can also use Todoist and Microsoft To-Do. YouTube and YouTube Music

We do not recommend streaming services to people. There are many other choices. But we like YouTube Music with YouTube. You can get unlimited music with more than enough songs for the price of one streaming service. And you get ad-free YouTube and background video play with offline downloading too! That one-two bundle is right up there with the Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ bundle for $12.99 per month as one of the best deals for video and audio streaming. In fact, the two combined should cover basically all of your video and audio streaming needs. Our only complaint is lower than average music quality on YouTube Music

Zedge

Zedge is a wallpaper, ringtones, notification tones, and alarm tones app. It’s really good. You can choose from many different things to customize your phone. Zedge also has special things for holidays like Christmas and Halloween. The only problem is that it sometimes has bugs and there are some annoying advertisements sometimes too. Zedge Premium is a new way to provide you with content. You can watch ads or take surveys to earn credits. There are other apps that make ringtones and wallpaper, but Zedge does both well.
